Brian Henson’s remembrance of his father, Jim Henson. It is a great tribute to Jim and the last line really stayed with me:
‘Every day for him was joyously filled with the surprises of other people’s ideas. I often think that if we all lived like that, not only would life be more interesting, we’d all be a lot happier.’
It’s getting creepy. Substitute a famous face over your own. This gives a whole new dimension to the term avatar. It looks a bit crude here but imagine the technology even five years into the future. Amazing.
I wanted to do some animation with a more realistic character and some NCloth in Maya. I also wanted to light it so that the warrior was silhouetted against the sunset but still lit enough to see his details. I hope you like it.
Nice Graphic look with simple animation and sophisticated camera. Sweet. Painting style reminds me of the old Graphic Films in Hollywood.
